Michael Sayegh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sayegh Group, voted today in the parliamentary elections for the 20th House of Representatives.

He emphasized that voting is a national duty and encouraged all voters to head to the polls, noting that his voting process took less than five minutes.

Sayegh expressed his support for the ongoing political system updates, including the election and party laws, highlighting their importance for Jordan’s political progress and national development. He also mentioned that the election process is proceeding smoothly, with many citizens eager to vote, and expressed hope that turnout would exceed 50%.

Sayegh disclosed his support for the democratic civil current and the "Nomo" bloc in the current elections. He voted at Queen Zein Al-Sharaf Secondary School for Girls in the second district of Amman.

Polling stations opened across Jordan at 7 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, with 5,115,219 eligible voters heading to the polls.
